Day 3, on our way to Schaffhausen, the hometown of one of the most famous watch's brands in the world,
IWC.
A little pity we didn't visit it, but thus we got a
chance to visit another interesting place.~~
The rivers in Europe are all so blue, and limpid.
We first went to visit the Rhein, the longest river in Europe,
which flows through six different countries.
When you bent down to take photos, you can
clearly hear the sound of the water,
and it's so natural that you would definitely
immersed yourself in it.
Although it was a rainy and cold day,
I still really enjoyed the masterpiece of the nature.
The old mansion along with the largest riverfall in
Europe form this harmonius landscape,
once you saw it, you would never forget it.
After visiting the Rhein, we went to Munot castle.
The most interesting part was that we had our
lunch just up in the castle, though it was freezing
cold, you can overlook the whole Schaffhausen.
Oh, by the way, their pizza tastes really good.~~~~
The castle was built in 16th century and was used to
protect the city.
Since then, there were guards living inside the Munot,
until now it has been more than 400years in history.
That old man is the guard who lives in the Munot for
many years, and he is going to retire next year.
So, if you are interested in becoming the guard, you can send your application to them now!!!! HaHa~~not kidding, it's ture~~~
There are so many tunnels in the castle, if you
don't watch out, you may never get out.
There are also many murals in the castle, and each one of them shows different stories.
In the evening, we went back to St.Gallen, because we
got a free night, Sven(my buddy) invited Claire and
Cassi to his house to play karaoke with his new
projector.
Sven's roommate, Tom, is really a professional
signer that his voice is really fascinating.
Cassi is also good, she even won over me though
she hasn't heard of that song before, but i did. ><
We played till almost 22:00, it was such a crazy
night !!!!
